I wanted to do a quick update post, since I’m not sure when my next post will be! We took Lincoln to the vet this morning to get his second and third injections, and we’ll pick him up tomorrow evening (here’s the backstory in case you missed it!). That means I’ll be at home with him for about a week solid! And since I probably won’t have many fun things to post about, here I am! I am praying that he does as good as he did with his first injection, even though this time it’s twice as many.
First things first, if you haven’t seen this video of Lincoln on my Facebook or Instagram, do yourself a favor and go watch it. I’ve watched it so many times, and it just cracks me up!
A few weeks ago, I got a serious craving for a burger, fries, and a milkshake. But everyone knows that McDonald’s is NEVER as good as it sounds in your head, so Chris and I decided to make our own! It was absolutely delicious, and exactly what I needed. Also, Chris makes the most delicious milkshakes in the world, and he is officially forever my milkshake maker.
Last Sunday after church, we went to mom and dad’s house to play games. Our two favorites right now are Carcassonne and Monopoly Cheaters! Somehow all four of us ended up in jail at the same time… 🤷🏼♀️
I dragged Chris out into the snow for a few night portraits 🙂 I can’t decide which one I like the best!
We’ve been working on our new dining room table quite a bit, and I’m even trying new things by creating a video of the process!
We got a good bit of snow this past weekend, and I love how it makes everything look so clean!
The heat in the shop isn’t currently working, so my fingers and toes are freezing off! My Contigo insulated mug does a great job of keeping my hot chocolate warm, but not so much transferring the heat to my hands! And my rice bag (fresh out of the microwave) comes in handy when I’m standing at the stove cooking 🙂
And this photo is from this morning, when Chris and I were on our way home from dropping Lincoln off at the vet. It was so foggy, but there was a tiny bit of pink in the sky from the sun, and it was so beautiful!
