Can anybody relate to feeling like cinnamon rolls are a huge task to accomplish? They have to rise properly, be rolled tight enough, and it feels like it takes days for them to be ready to eat. I know that’s a little dramatic, but I’ve always felt like cinnamon rolls are difficult. Worth it, but difficult 😉
I found a new recipe for them, and I decided it was worth a shot! I prepared them Saturday afternoon, and baked them the next morning. Oh my GOODNESS were they delicious! The recipe has a cream cheese icing, which in hindsight I should have just skipped, because neither Chris or I really love cream cheese. Next time, I’ll do either a regular vanilla icing, or Chris even suggested an orange juice icing, which would be amazing!!
These were also super easy to make! The hardest part was rolling them tightly. I think that next time I might do half or 3/4 of the cinnamon/brown sugar deliciousness, because it seemed to make it even more difficult to roll. There was a LOT!
If you don’t already have a favorite cinnamon roll recipe, you need to give this one a try! And even if you do, maybe try it anyway. You might get a new favorite recipe ☺️
