IKEA is one of my very favorite places, and I wish we lived closer to one! It takes about two and a half hours to drive there, but it’s so worth it. I always have a running list on my phone of all the things I want to get on my next IKEA trip! In fact, I started adding to the list again the day after we got back from our last one, haha 😄
It’s hard to choose just a few things I love most about it, but I’d have to say that I love the variety and the prices the most. Whether you want something industrial, modern, or Joanna-Gaines-esque, IKEA has it! And it’s always at the most amazing prices. It’s actually probably a good thing IKEA is so far away, because otherwise I’d be there every day (especially at lunch time, eating Swedish meatballs 😉).
I had a few things I really wanted to get on this trip (like new curtains – blog post coming soon!), but I also thought it’d be fun to take some portraits of Joelle in IKEA! The top level is mostly comprised of big furniture pieces and ‘rooms’ to showcase their decor. These rooms are always so fun to walk through, and imagine your own home like that! Joelle is a perfect model anyway, but it was hilarious setting her up in these rooms like it was her own house 😄
Of course, first we had to stop and get our Swedish meatballs 😉
