Two recipe posts in a row? I promise I’m not turning into a food blogger (especially since I can’t even claim any of these recipes as my own 🤣), I just love food and I love making all kinds of recipes!
Chris actually sent me this recipe before we even met in person. We knew we were meeting soon for a picnic, and he said “it’d be pretty awesome if you made these…”. Subtle, right? 😉 I’ve made them a few times since then, and the key is really to under bake them! They continue to bake a little on the tray, and they’re much tastier when the cookie crumbles. For my oven, that is baking them right at 12-13 minutes. Don’t be afraid to pull them out when the edges are set, but the middles still look a little wobbly! 😊
Every piece of the nutter better is delicious, but the filling inside is my favorite part! It’s so smooth and creamy. You could probably half the filling and still have plenty. I make the called-for amount, and we spread it on graham crackers! 😋
The best part about this recipe is that it’s like 5 ingredients. So quick and easy! I always have cookies to pack in Chris’s lunch, but occasionally I like to mix it up and put something more exciting in his lunchbox. These nutter butters are perfect for that!
